Another rip-off...

So many things on television and on the radio these days are unoriginal rip-offs. I don't even know if I can call this one a coincidence-- either it was an intentional rip-off or it was subconscious. Or maybe the people who worked on the ad for Totino's party pizzas also took a job for the Intel commercial and were too lazy to come up with another idea. I'm not sure what happened, but it's the same friggin scenario and outcome, and both have robots. Is this plagiarism? You be the judge:

Totino's Party Pizzas. Note that the video was uploaded almost a year ago, September 2009.

Intel's "Lunch Room" ad, which initially aired during the 2010 Super Bowl, well after the Totino's commercial first aired. Hmmm...

I know, I know. Before you tell me how I should find a hobby besides complaining about stupid television commercials-- I know. It's just that silly things like this bother me and no one else really talks about it.

So here I am. Leave a comment and call me a loser :)

I am a HUGE FAN of ripping apart commercials. I mostly look for flaws or inconsistencies. I do feel bad for Jeffrey in that commercial though.

Oh, one in particular... in the car commercial where the dad sends his son and daughter on a scavenger hunt in the car ("Look in the glove box" "Where do gummie bears hide?") the kids "laugh" and it's this clearly fake kid laugh track. You can hear it in MANY commercials, including a different car commercial that currently plays. I HATE IT. BE ORIGINAL, SERIOUSLY. Don't use canned kid laughs.
