Some 'splainin to do... and shout-outs

Hello, and welcome to my blog. If you think you've been here before, you're probably right. No need to panic! It's the same blog it always was, but now with a fresh name and some additional features. I'm trying to create the most streamlined and aesthetically pleasing blog that I possibly can with the tools I've been given and the meager knowledge I possess. Making things look nice is what I like to do, but it's somewhat of a challenge when I'm working with the internet. As you may already know, I'm not the best when it comes to technology. I don't even have a smart phone, but I'm okay with that. I don't really need anything like in my life right now.

So, on to the changes. I decided on a title for now, going back to my roots with the The Original Hegemonster. I figured why not use it? It's my URL, anyway, and if you google the word "hegemonster" the first five or six results are my sites. If I think of something better I'll change it, I suppose, and if you think the current title sucks, then leave me a comment with your own suggestion. I'm open to criticism. Also, if you've noticed, I added a labels section on the right sidebar for easy searching. Nifty!

Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you to the folks who have followed my blog and commented on my posts, recently. I really do appreciate the feedback and it's encouraging to know that people really are reading this stuff. It makes me want to write even more, which might explain why this is my third blog posting today. Anyway, I'm lovin all the love being sent my way and I'm excited to participate in this ongoing online discussion. I joined a few new sites this week The SITS Girls and Twenty-Something Bloggers and I've been reading a bunch of cool new blogs through those networks. It's really wonderful to be able to connect with others who are in a similar situation, and it's a great support system.
