Tell the Truth Thursday, brought to you by the Redhead Riter.
Question: Do you have a nickname? If so, what is it?
Answer: My name is Alexandra and since I was born my parents and family have called me "Allie." It's a cute name, but I feel like I've outgrown it and after graduating high-school I have asked that others refer to me by my full name.
A nickname I had in grade school was "Chester," I think in the sixth grade. It was created by one of my classmates to be an insult (because I was "flat-chested"), and unfortunately it stuck for years until I went to high-school. In high-school some people called me the "ice queen" because I was a bit of a loner. It's funny how shy-people always get the label of "snob" or "bitch." Because I was quiet and was already on the receiving end of animosity, I get called the bitch. How does that make sense?
I'm not really a fan of nicknames. I like my given name, and my newest internet persona honors my name. Alexandra Romanov was the last Queen, or Tsaritsa, of Russia and I like to think of her as being my namesake. Thus, the Tsaritsa, but you can call me Alexandra :)
