Anyway, it's that friggin time again! Karaoke time! This month's theme is love/anti-love songs and it just dawned on me today that this category was picked because of Valentine's Day. I'm a genius, a-duh. I chose an anti-love song because they're more fun to sing, for me at least. I'm not really a lover of ballads, unless they're by John Keats, so an angry, "this coulda been yours but you fucked it up" song is what you get. I used to have vocal skillz (I was a choir girl, in church and school, from grade school through high-school), but I'm not why they decided to leave me.
Now, it gives me great pleasure to present you with Cassie from Witty Title Here. Cassie is a really cool lady. I can tell you this because I read her blog, so I know for a fact that she is awesome. Just take this line from her "about" section: "I’m not someone who needs to be liked by everyone. Well, not anymore. Because in general, I’ve realized, other people’s approval means very little." That's 100% pure coolness right there. One thing about Cassie is that she way, WAY too flattering when you host her on your blog. Or maybe it's just me? (kidding) I was a bit blown away when I read the email she sent me with the introduction she wrote for this post. Mostly because I don't think I'm cool. I'm pretty lame, when you get down to it, but that's a story for another time. I do appreciate her kind words, though. Enough of my nonsense, herrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeee's CASSIE!!

Hello, all-- I'm back with a glitch-free video this month, and I'm quite giddy to be hosted by the awesome Alexandra. I'm afraid this lady is way cooler than I am because she lives in the Bay Area, has badass tattoos, and I haven't read a damn book on her reading list. So, there's that. But I hope I can at least entertain you momentarily. It's possible I had a different version of this video to start with, but I apparently forgot that I should NEVER close my eyes while I sing, because I never close them all the way, and then I just look possessed. Funny? Yes. More humiliating than funny? Definitely yes.
