When I got back stateside, Sean made two beats and we recorded two songs in his bathtub. It wasn't much, but I definitely enjoyed the whole process of writing, recording and then hearing the finished product on an actual tape. It was really cool to hear myself "rap."
I'm not an excellent rapper, but I certainly loved being Malthus of Excellent Cadaverz for a while (having a pseudonym is awesome). Unfortunately, the group and our friendship didn't last. I just wanted to be friends and keep making music together, and he wanted something more. It's sad to me when stuff like that happens as it creates an awkward situation and can ruin a friendship.
Flash forward to present day: I am thinking of getting back into the game, so to speak, and have been in communication with a few other bloggers, like Rio at Good Music, Bad Math who also have a passion for hip-hop. I hope we can collaborate and make produce some hot ish. I'm gonna take time this weekend to write some fresh rhymes. I also have plans to do a lot of work, take Evy, who now has a blog by the way, to Thrift Town, and make my karaoke video. Oh boy!
What do you have planned for this weekend?

Back when I used to chill with the Wu! Photoshopped by my friend, Jon Wiener.
