Hey there, my name is Alexandra and while I type this I am 27 years old and living in the Bay Area. I once had an epiphany: I want to do something that I think matters. I want to create, write, and use my imagination for a living, and right now I'm trying to make that happen. This blog is where I come to sort my thoughts, write about my passions, and engage my readers in discussion.
As a fan of the small press, I founded and have been self-publishing my very own literary magazine (currently working on the seventh issue! click the link to get the deets, buy a copy for yourself, and submit!).
I've done the editorial internship thing and now I am focusing on my freelance writing career, and turning this blog into a well-oiled machine.
When I'm not absolutely busy trying to be a poet, rapper, writer, publisher, crazy person, I'm reading the books on my reading list.
